Mount Carmel College of Nursing (MCCN) is aware of the many pressures students face every day. To assist with these challenges, MCCN Student Life now offers on-campus professional counseling services to students provided by a dedicated counselor.
Our Student Behavioral Health Counselor, Rachel Weaver, MSW, LISW-S, LICDC-CS, DBTC, is located on the 1st floor of Angela Hall in Office 104. Ms. Weaver can be contacted by phone or email, 614-234-4752, firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com.

Carebridge is also available to students. Carebridge provides personal counseling to the student and their household members. The counselors are all master’s prepared professionals who can help the student or family member with:
- Marital Relationships
- Substance Abuse
- Grief and Loss
- Stress Management
- Parent/Child Relationships
- Difficult Emotional Issues
The process to reach a therapist is simple—please refer to this flyer for the telephone number to reach the Carebridge answering system. The secretary will ask where the student lives, so that a counselor can be located in an area that is easily accessed by the student. Then the counselor will call the student directly (ideally within 24 hours) to set up an appointment with the student. If the therapist thinks that the student will need more than 6 visits, longer therapy can be arranged, but the student will have to pay any co-payments associated with their insurance.
Giving the Gift of Education
The College’s continued vitality and strength results in large measure from the support received from our alumni, friends, corporations, parents, faculty and staff. Whether through philanthropic donations or volunteer opportunities, we welcome your engagement in Mount Carmel College of Nursing.
Now, more than ever, as we face challenging economic times, philanthropy will play a key role in the health and well-being of our communities. By working together, we have the opportunity to focus on building long-term investments that will impact healthcare and nursing education for years to come. One investment that will always be sound can be found at Mount Carmel College of Nursing: our students.
Through gifts to the Mount Carmel College of Nursing Annual Campaign, parents and families of current undergraduates, as well as graduates, support and enhance educational programs and opportunities at Mount Carmel. Make a gift.
