ImageFor more than a century, Mount Carmel College of Nursing has been dedicated to helping students realize the dream of a career in health care. Founded in 1903 by the Congregation of the Sisters of the Holy Cross, Mount Carmel School of Nursing granted thousands of nursing diplomas before becoming Mount Carmel College of Nursing in 1990 with the introduction of a fully accredited Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program. In 2003, one hundred years after opening its doors, the College took yet another bold step forward, introducing a Master of Science program.

Today, Mount Carmel College of Nursing ranks among the largest baccalaureate nursing programs in Ohio. Our nursing program and our Dietetic Internship (a nine-month certification program) are among the best available.

By emphasizing diversity, small class size, personal attention, and Judeo-Christian values, the College is experiencing record enrollment, attracting many of the country's finest nursing students, and achieving exceptional student retention and graduation rates.

It's been an evolutionary first century for the Mount Carmel College of Nursing, and the next one looks equally exciting.
