I am a graduate of Mount Carmel School of Nursing in 1990 with a Diploma in Nursing. My BSN is from MCCN in 1997 and a MS with Certificate in Education from MCCN in 2009. My nursing practice positions have included staff nurse, primary charge nurse and care manager on a medical-surgical telemetry unit, in the intensive care arena, and with the rapid response team. I have been at MCCN for 16 years and have held a variety of educational roles within the Undergraduate and SDAP programs as clinical instructor and educator for the Acute Care, Medical-Surgical, and Fundamentals courses and as Course Coordinator for the Acute Care Course in the SDAP program. Currently my position within the College is as the Clinical Faculty Educator for on-boarding, orienting and mentoring of new Clinical Faculty. I am a compassionate nurse and educator. I am dedicated and passionate about using my skills, knowledge, self-direction, organizational skills, and vast experience to motivate prospective nurses to achieve their highest potential.
