Responsibilities

I teach clinically in the Caring Health Practices for the Older Adult course and Caring Health Practices for Mental Health. I also teach the didactic portion of Caring Health Practices for Mental Health at the Fairfield campus. I provide a seminar called STRESS, MIND, and BODY/MINDFULLNESS STRESS REDUCTION.

I teach and incorporate into my daily life meditation, breath work, Reiki and mindfulness.
I provide mindfulness practice workshops and private sessions in the community.
Advocated for older adults by appearing on television to promote an integrated care model.
Testified before a Joint Hearing of the House Committees on Aging and Older Adult Services for funding.
Implemented a program to provide mental health screening and treatment as part of four District Health Center clinic services in Philadelphia to successfully establish an integrated model of care.
