Our Nursing Administration track is designed for the professional nurse who is ready to reap the benefits of expanded career opportunities by assuming managerial and administrative roles.

Nursing Administration coursework will provide graduates with the knowledge and skills to:

  • Assume advanced roles in nursing administration
  • Lead the development of competent healthcare services to diverse populations
  • Use epidemiological, social, and environmental data to draw inferences for the development of healthcare services
  • Facilitate the development and implementation of programs on health promotion and disease prevention
  • Evaluate nursing service delivery systems to assure quality outcomes
  • Demonstrate leadership in nursing and healthcare services
  • Use ethical decision making in relevant practice roles
  • Collaborate with other disciplines to achieve quality outcomes in nursing and healthcare services
  • Facilitate the use of evidence-based practice in nursing services
  • Promote nursing as a profession and a discipline
  • Demonstrates scholarly inquiry about nursing and health systems through verbal and written communication in nursing and health systems
