Traditional Four-Year Program Print

ImageNow offered at two locations: Columbus and Lancaster, Ohio.

The Traditional Four-Year Program is designed for students with no previous nursing experience. The first year of study focuses on completing general education requirements, which provide the foundation for the nursing studies that begin in the sophomore year. The nursing curriculum combines both hands-on clinical experiences and classroom theory. Nursing coursework emphasizes clinical practice in a variety of acute-care hospitals and community based centers.

The Traditional Program is offered at two locations: on the Columbus MCCN Campus and new at Fairfield Medical Center.

In addition to regular classes, our nursing and humanities seminars encourage students to explore personal health-related interests, and can provide you with rich cultural experiences. The Mount Carmel College of Nursing Bachelor of Science in Nursing Program prepares graduates to take the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN), administered through the Ohio Board of Nursing.
