Ken was born in Bryn Mawr, PA and earned his B.A. in English, Lynchburg College, Lynchburg, VA and Master of Science in Library Science, Clarion University of Pennsylvania, Clarion, PA. Ken serves as the Library's liaison to Mount Carmel College of Nursing spending most of his time working with faculty and students. His other duties include literature searches and other reference works with medical staff, physicians and other library service users.

"As a career, being a librarian is a unique experience. It is also a way to discover the uniqueness of those who come to the library," Ken says. "I think what always fascinates me about libraries is the feeling of life from the moment you open the doors to the closing of a book."
