Stevo was born in Karlovac, Republic of Croatia. He came to the USA in 1999 and completed his B.S. in Human Resources, Masters in Business and Administration (MBA) at Franklin University, Columbus, OH, and Masters Degree in Library and Information Science (MLIS) at Kent State University, OH. "My career in the library field started when I came to the USA. While studying I was working at Franklin University Library," Stevo says. "Joining Mount Carmel Health Sciences Library team I had a chance to apply my extensive customer service experience and my business knowledge."

Stevo has traveled around the world 3 times and he is fluent in five languages. "Yes, that's true. Working for the cruise lines was a great opportunity to see the World and save money for education. Anchored in the Midwest I do not have enough opportunity to apply my language knowledge. Well — c'est la 'career choice'!"
