Donate to the Mission Trip Fund and Get a MCCN Cookbook
Help students attend a mission trip and not only will you enable them to help people in need, but you will get a MCCN cookbook as well. Simply drop off a donation of any amount to Sherri Soble, BS in the Business Office and you can get a free cookbook filled with tasty recipes. All contributions fund future student mission trips.
Sophomores: Don’t Miss Your Class Meeting April 4
The sophomore class meeting will take place Monday, April 4 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the MSB. Come hear about junior level classes from the course coordinators. Freshman Class Meeting: April 18
Join your classmates for a freshman class meeting on Monday, April 18 from noon until 1 p.m. in the Medical Staff Building Auditorium. The purpose of the event is to meet faculty who will be teaching your courses and to learn tips for success for your sophomore year. Be sure to save the date. NCLEX-RN and Testing and Practice Sessions
Develop those critical thinking skills and reduce your test anxiety! Brenda Beyer, RN, NCLEX-RN and testing specialist, will be available on the following dates, times and locations to help with your NCLEX preparation and improve testing skills for all levels of nursing students. Mrs. Beyer will have example questions, plus you are welcome to bring in your own sample questions to discuss and practice testing techniques. Each session (1-10) will include all new questions, so come to as many as you need. All nursing students and graduates are encouraged to come and improve their testing skills and reduce their anxiety. Response to the previous session was extremely positive from the sophomore, junior, senior, SDAP and graduates who attended.
