Katie Cline is a familiar face to many at Mount Carmel College of Nursing. As a Junior in the four-year undergraduate program, she is a hard-working student who balances her studies, as well as a part-time job at Charlie’s Java Jolt. Katie has wanted to be a nurse since the age of five, despite none of her family members being involved in healthcare. “I think that it is my destiny to be a nurse, that it is God’s plan. He wants me to be a nurse so that I can impact other people’s lives.”
Katie is able to fulfill her lifelong dream of becoming a nurse without the added stress of having to fund all of her education thanks to the generous donors who have contributed to the MCCN scholarship program. “When I look at the scholarship, I don’t just see dollar amounts, I see less stress on me so I can become the best nurse that I can be.” She wants the donors to know that they are making a huge impact when they give the gift of education.
