Class Of 2017 Celebrated In Nursing School Pinning Ceremony

The Mount Carmel College of Nursing recognized 149 students Sunday during the the Sophomore Pinning Ceremony.
The annual ceremony was held Sunday afternoon at the First Church of God at 3480 Refugee Road.
“The tradition symbolizes a rite of passage, and a milestone of a student's perseverance, academic achievement and educational progression toward direct patient care,” according to Alexis Godshall , of MCCN.
The Class of 2017 is represented by students from the Fairfield and Columbus campuses.
The group is also represented by both 14 males and 135 females.
MCCN is one of the largest nursing schools in Ohio with over 1,000 students.
