Don’t Miss the Fall Festival October 26

Be sure to swing by MCCN’s free Fall Festival, scheduled for Monday, October 26 from noon to 2:30 p.m. in the Lounge, College Gym and Rec Room. Stop by for food trucks, get a massage, experience Reiki, get a henna tattoo, get a caricature of yourself drawn by an artist, get a silly creation from the balloon artist and check out what Kemba Financial Credit Union has to offer students.

Flu Shot Clinic October 26

Don't forget to get your mandatory flu shot! There will be a flu shot clinic Monday, October 26 from noon until 2 p.m. in the Student Recreation Room in the basement of Marian Hall.

Students: Looking for Something to Do? See Arts Programs for $5!

Go for $5 is a discount program designed to make the arts affordable and accessible for individuals ages 13-25 by offering $5 tickets to select performances from Columbus' top arts organizations. Simply go to, select your show and get your voucher. You can either pay online or at the CAPA ticket office. Participating organizations include: BalletMet, CAPA, CATCO, Chamber Music Columbus, Columbus Symphony, Jazz Arts Group and the King Arts Complex.

Get Your Tickets by October 31 to See Wildlights at the Zoo for Half Price!

Wildlights at the Columbus Zoo is a popular holiday tradition. You can get tickets half price at this link if you purchase them by October 31. Use the user name “nursing” and the password “buckeye.” Wildlights runs from November 20, 2015 to January 3, 2016.

The Student Pantry Has Moved!

If money didn’t stretch as far as it should have this month don’t worry, it happens to all of us. The student food pantry has what you need until the next check comes in. The pantry is now located in the Recreation Room kitchen in the basement of Marian Hall. Just come down and get what you need, no questions asked.
