Peace+Love+Bling Jewelry Sale

Just in time for graduation and Mother’s Day, Alumni Relations is hosting a Peace+Love+Bling jewelry and gift event in the lobby of Marian Hall from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Monday, April 25. Proceeds will fund future student/alumni events.

Finals Week Breakfast

The Mount Carmel Alumni Association will be offering FREE breakfast for students on Monday, May 2 and Tuesday, May 3 at the following times and locations:

  • 8-11 a.m. in the Student Rec Room at the Columbus campus
  • 8-10 a.m. in MCCN Corner at the Lancaster campus

FREE Breakfast for Senior Students

The Mount Carmel Alumni Association is providing FREE breakfast for seniors at the ATI review session on Wednesday, May 4 and Thursday, May 5 from 8 to 9:30 a.m.

New Canvas Interface

Starting in Summer 2016, Mount Carmel College of Nursing will roll out a new user interface (UI) for Canvas (released by Instructure in August 2015). The new interface has a clean and contemporary look, which improves mobile navigation and makes the user experience simple.

NCLEX-RN and Testing and Practice Sessions

Develop those critical thinking skills and reduce your test anxiety! Brenda Beyer, RN, NCLEX-RN and testing specialist, will be available on the following dates, times and locations to help with your NCLEX preparation and improve testing skills for all levels of nursing students. Mrs. Beyer will have example questions, plus you are welcome to bring in your own sample questions to discuss and practice testing techniques. Each session (1-10) will include all new questions, so come to as many as you need. All nursing students and graduates are encouraged to come to improve testing skills and reduce anxiety. Response to the previous session was extremely positive from the sophomore, junior, senior, SDAP and graduates who attended. Students/graduates are encouraged to attend, even if you come late or have to leave early. If you have any questions, please email
