Congrats to the 2016 Mount Carmel Excellence in Nursing awardees from MCCN who were recognized at a special ceremony held September 13 at Villa Milano. The Excellence in Nursing Awards event, sponsored annually by Mount Carmel College of Nursing and Mount Carmel Patient Care Services, is now in its 12th year. Mount Carmel Health System recognized these outstanding nurse educators, nursing education advocates, nurses and nurse leaders who exemplify devotion to patients, dedication to the nursing profession and diligence in providing outstanding evidence-based care.
To encourage healthy bodies as well as healthy minds, MCCN organizes activities each semester. For a full listing of activities, please pick up a Fall Semester 2016 Wellness Calendar, located throughout the Columbus campus.
For students, faculty or staff who need to use a breast pumping room while at Mount Carmel College of Nursing, there is a room located toward the back of the Library called “Mothers’Room.” The Mothers’ Room is split into two separate spaces with a privacy board.
Please join Sigma Theta Tau International and Rho Omicron of MCCN on Thursday, November 10 in the MSB Auditorium to welcome and honor the new members. Additional details to follow.
