Pursue your passion and advance your career with Mount Carmel College of Nursing’s Fully Accredited Online RN-BSN Completion Program.
A leader in nursing education for more than a century, Mount Carmel offers the excellence and flexibility of an online BSN program designed by expert faculty to fit your schedule — and your life. With full accreditation and a student-first focus, Mount Carmel is the nursing college to help you take your career and your calling to the next level.
Priority consideration is given to applicants from ACEN (formerly NLNAC) accredited pre-licensure nursing programs. MCCN will evaluate applicant packages and may consider admission for those from non-ACEN (formerly NLNAC) accredited pre-licensure nursing programs on an individual basis.
The Online RN-BSN program means you’ll enjoy convenience and flexibility while you’re learning. Our program is designed around you — the licensed nurse who wants to advance your career with a bachelor of science in nursing degree.
Following successful fulfillment of all prerequisite courses, a full time student can complete the program in just four semesters, with three start times — fall, spring or summer semester.
Full time doesn’t fit? Part time study is also available.
Flexibility is key to our program in every area. You will progress according to your timetable and your life. Our program promises you a personalized educational experience. You set the pace.
Our curriculum features a wide spectrum of classes and course work to facilitate learning that integrates the most current knowledge— from the humanities, liberal arts, and sciences — with today’s health issues.
Evidence, best nursing educational practice, and quality are the basis of every course we offer, onsite or Online. We built our Online RN-BSN program according to standards of quality developed through national research in online learning from the student perspective.
To ensure continuity, our online nursing faculty complete continuing education in online teaching methods and strategies based on best practice and evidence. Providing you with a seamless academic transition and foundation is our priority.
Our program begins with an online technology orientation that increases your comfort in an online learning environment. From admission to graduation, you can depend on focused attention throughout the program, as well as direct interaction between you and your faculty.
We keep our student/faculty ratio low, with no more than 25 - 30 students in our Online undergraduate courses benchmarked against national best practice guidelines. Courses that require more faculty engagement — more one-on-one with students — will have less than that. Our support systems give you the maximum opportunity for success.
Our students and graduates say that Mount Carmel College of Nursing offers one of the most supportive educational programs in the region, with individualized attention and support from faculty.
