2010 Mount Carmel College of Nursing Commencement Honors Graduates

Students received nursing degrees at ceremonies held May 8

Columbus, Ohio…Faculty, friends and families celebrated the arrival of Mount Carmel College of Nursing's class of 2010 at ceremonies held on Saturday, May 8.

More than 160 students participated in the ceremony where candidates received Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degrees and Master of Science degrees. The event was held at First Church of God.

MCCN has experienced record growth in the last decade and now numbers more than 800 students. Founded by the Sisters of the Holy Cross in 1903, MCCN is among the largest baccalaureate nursing programs in the State of Ohio.

“Commencement celebrates the achievements of our students — men and women who are now realizing their dreams of becoming professional nurses.” says Ann Schiele, PhD, RN, President/Dean, Mount Carmel. “At Mount Carmel we are committed to bringing the promise of the nursing profession to as many qualified students as we can.”
