After you have been accepted to Mount Carmel College of Nursing, please submit your $100 confirmation deposit. This confirms your spot in the program and is credited toward first-semester tuition.
Orientation is required for all new MCCN students, and we offer a variety of dates for you to choose from. You will register online for MCCN orientation and select your preferred date.
If you wish to apply for financial aid, you must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA); you are strongly encouraged to complete and submit your FAFSA as soon as possible. MCCN’s school code is 030719. The MCCN Financial Aid Office will forward you a notification of financial aid eligibility upon receipt of your completed FAFSA. If you have questions, please contact the Financial Aid Office at 614-234-1842.
No later than the first day of classes, students must submit updated, official transcripts that include final grades for any in-progress courses. Electronic transcript delivery is preferred, using admissions@mccn.edu as the recipient.
New Nightingales need to register for Take Flight, which prepares you for the rigors of nursing, and helps you make new friends. Take Flight is held the week prior to classes beginning.
Take Flight will be held on August 11 & 12 for new, incoming Fall 2025 students.
First-time freshmen (not transfers) are required to take the ATI-TEAS test. The results of this test will not affect your admission decision. You’ll receive more information about registering for the TEAS test via email over the summer.

This is our student portal, and an important place to access information and instructions about your personal MCCN information. Use the login information provided in your “Requirements for Acceptance at MCCN” email to access CARMELink.
Check your grades and stay up to date with information about your classes. CARMELink and MyMCCN use the same username and password for authentication.
Students will be sent instructions for setting up their Nightingmail (school email) account to the email address provided during the application process.
A laptop computer is required for courses not exclusively online. A desktop computer can be used for online programs. Chromebooks/iPads are not compatible with Respondus, so please avoid these devices. For a complete list of Technology and Computer Specifications, please see the student catalog.
