It prohibits sex discrimination in educational institutions, programs and activities. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Sexual Assault
  • Domestic violence
  • Dating Violence
  • Intimate partner violence
  • Stalking (gender based)
  • Sexual harassment
  • Failing to provide appropriate support for pregnant or parenting students

Ohio does not have a legal definition for dating violence, sexual assault or consent.
