The Online Advantage: Accessibility
The Online RN-BSN program means you’ll enjoy convenience and flexibility while you’re learning. Our program is designed around you — the licensed nurse who wants to advance your career with a bachelor of science in nursing degree. Complete in 2 to 3 semesters. Full time doesn’t fit? Part time study is also available.
We keep our student/faculty ratio low, with no more than 25 - 30 students in our Online undergraduate courses benchmarked against national best practice guidelines. Our support systems give you the maximum opportunity for success.
Our students and graduates say that Mount Carmel College of Nursing offers one of the most supportive educational programs in the region, with individualized attention and support from faculty.
Because Quality Matters to MCCN
100% of the RN-BSN courses hold official Quality Matters Certification.
What does Quality Matters Certification mean?
Achieving Quality Matters (QM) course certification means that the course has been determined, through a peer review process, to meet national QM standards in course design that are associated with best-practices. QM standards are developed using research and experts in the field.
What is the benefit?
Delivering quality online education for students is the focus of QM standards. “Course review results in better course design, which makes navigation easier for students, reduces barriers to student achievement, and results in better outcomes. But the impact of using Quality Matters goes far beyond the course or courses being certified. Using the QM Quality Assurance System even in one area, or one course, begins to instill a ‘culture of quality’ throughout the organization.”† To learn more about Quality Matters visit https://www.qualitymatters.org
