COLUMBUS -- A ceremony for the Mount Carmel College of Nursing at Fairfield Medical Center class of 2012 was May 5.

This was the largest graduating class in the history of Mount Carmel, with a total of 199 students, and this was the first class to graduate from the college's satellite campus at Fairfield Medical Center. The local class was 15 students. Bachelor of science in nursing degrees and master of science degrees were conferred at the ceremony at First Church of God.

Area students who graduated from the program include:

Lancaster: Barbara "Allie" Barnhart, daughter of Jeff and Carrie Campbell and Dale Barnhart, 2008 graduate of Lancaster High School; Brittany Watterson, daughter of Adam Watterson and Beth Levacy, 2008 graduate of Fisher Catholic High School; Stephanie Binkley, daughter of Kimberly and Steve Binkley, 2008 graduate of Lancaster High School.
