This annual Convocation recognizes the official start of the academic year.

This year marks the 110th anniversary of nursing education at Mount Carmel. Mount Carmel was first founded as a School of Nursing by the Sisters of the Holy Cross in 1903 and chartered as a College of Nursing in 1990.

MCCN is experiencing record enrollment, with 1,124 students attending fall semester. Attendees include 219 new undergraduates along with undergraduates from both Columbus and Fairfield Medical Center campuses.

The keynote speaker will be Representative Mike Curtin, Ohio House of Representatives 17th district.

Mount Carmel College of Nursing offers both undergraduate and undergraduate degrees and offers one of the largest baccalaureate nursing programs in the state of Ohio. www.mccn.edu.
