The cold, winter days brightened on February 3 with the graduation of our 10th cohort of the Second Degree Accelerated Program. These 59 students are now our newest alumni and ready to begin their nursing careers.

As you may know, SDAP is designed for individuals who hold a bachelor’s degree in a non-nursing field and want to answer their calling to become nurses. SDAP students obtain the same education as traditional Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program students, but in a compressed time frame. You can learn more about how second degrees lead to second careers in the most recent issue of our alumni magazine, the Lamp.
