Dear Mount Carmel Alumni,

I know that you join me in looking forward to our 113th academic year as we turn our attention to the exciting future of Mount Carmel College of Nursing and our Alumni Relations activities.

Additionally, we’re excited about our expanded Online Doctor of Nursing Practice program, entering its second year, which now includes the Certified Nurse-Midwife (CNM) for admission consideration. With the deadline for application set in August for the Spring 2017 cohort, we’re looking forward to seeing who among our alumni may be returning to advance in nursing practice as innovative leaders in today’s ever-changing healthcare environment.

Also, we’re already gearing up to welcome students from the Class of 2020 on August 15, as they embark on their Bachelor of Science degrees. Convocation will be held on August 8. I’m sure you recall with fondness the anticipation you felt during your early academic days.

Enjoy reading about the upcoming happenings in Alumni Relations – including Mount Carmel Alumni Association Annual Meeting and Homecoming set for October – and two of your fellow alumni in this issue of AlumNews. Have a wonderful summer!
