Ann Waterman

Ann Waterman, PhD, RN, has been appointed to serve as interim academic dean at Mount Carmel College of Nursing. Dr. Waterman’s appointment is effective September 14, 2017.

In her role, Dr. Waterman will be responsible for faculty development and student engagement, and for providing leadership and support for the undergraduate and graduate programs. Dr. Waterman will report to MCCN interim president, Dr. Ann Marie T. Brooks.

Dr. Waterman was a member of the Mount Carmel faculty from 1981 through 1993, later returning in 2007. She has held numerous teaching and leadership positions throughout her tenure at our institution. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Capital University, and received both a Master of Science in Nursing and a PhD from The Ohio State University.
