What inspired you to become a nurse?
I am inspired by science and my family’s background to become a nurse. There is no greater feeling than being there for those who are in their most vulnerable state to comfort them and to be someone they trust to provide care. Nothing satisfies me more than being there for others, and nursing seems to be the profession suited for me. Science has always been a big part of me. It was when I took physiology that my interest in nursing grew. I cannot imagine being anywhere but nursing. What’s great about this profession is the endless opportunities, the different specialties, continuing education opportunities, financial freedom, and connections.
