ATI has two new products that will help students achieve academic and NCLEX-RN success. They are "Achieve" and "NurseLogic".

Achieve is an interactive tutorial with multimedia that helps students with study skills, test taking, learning styles and strategy preferences. The tutorial contains five modules that offer evidence-based recommendations to aid nursing students at all levels to improve their experience as learners and test takers. The tutorial includes in-depth information to prepare students for success in completing their clinical experiences. There is also information to help students who speak English as a second language.

NurseLogic is also an interactive, media-rich, online tutorial that introduces nursing students to core concepts relevant to nursing practice, arms them with study and test-taking skills and helps with setting priorities and critical reading test items. Students will learn to approach test items in a step-by-step manner and walk through the process. This module is so helpful, students may want to review it prior to exams just to keep themselves on track and focused when approaching test questions.

Don’t forget, Brenda Byer, NCLEX-RN and Testing Specialist, is available to help you. Her office hours for students are Mondays 12-2 p.m. in Academic Support Services, CLE 207. You also can make an appointment at (614) 234-3872 or bbeyer@mccn.edu.

For Instructors: Office hours are Wednesdays 12-2 p.m. in CLE 0111 or by appointment at (614) 234-3872 or bbeyer@mccn.edu.
