I can’t live without… Well, on this one I could always resort to Maslow and say I can’t live without air, food, water, shelter, etc. However, I believe I have reached a sense of self-actualization so I will say that I can’t live without friends/family, laughter, sunshine, Diet Pepsi and sports.

If I could spend the day with one person it would be… I suppose it would be a toss up between Pope Francis, John Belushi and W.C. Fields.

If I could travel anywhere, I would go to… If I could travel anywhere I would like to go to Egypt and ride a camel through the desert and see the Pyramids. I do have an interest in ancient societies. I am awed by their engineering skills and architecture.

When I have down time, I… spend time with my 14 grandchildren or my friends, attend or watch sporting events and read. My favorite teams are the Cavaliers, Browns, OSU and Notre Dame. My favorite authors are James Patterson, Steven Berry, Tom Clancy, David Baldacci and Linda Miller.

My favorite movie is… Okay, I am going to date myself on this one: Out of Africa with Meryl Streep and Robert Redford.

The quote I tend to live by is… “Great spirits have always encountered violent opposition from mediocre minds.” - Albert Einstein

The best advice I could give to incoming freshmen or graduate students is… the only thing that will truly limit you is YOU! Be persistent and believe in yourself.

One thing you may not know about me is… In 1976, I was a full delegate to the Democratic National Convention for Jimmy Carter, at which time I had the opportunity to meet and talk with several great statesmen and leaders including, Ted Kennedy, Hubert Humphrey, and Richard Dailey. At the time I was also the youngest person in the state of Ohio to hold the position of a Democratic County Chairwoman.
