Mount Carmel Health System will be presenting the first interprofessional research and evidence-based practice (EBP) day on Wednesday, May 10, 2017, where nursing, medical residents, pharmacy, physical therapy and other healthcare colleagues will come together for a day of learning, collaboration, and to showcase research studies and EBP projects.

The day will begin with breakfast followed by podium and poster presentations. Keynote speakers will highlight the significance and value of interprofessional collaboration. Following lunch, the afternoon session will focus on evidence-based practice at the bedside, centered on nursing. Contact hours will be offered for both CME and Nursing.

Mount Carmel is now soliciting abstracts for your podium or poster presentations to showcase your research and evidence-based practice projects. Abstract directions are located in the link below and are due Monday, February 20, 2017. You will be notified March 2, 2017, if you have been selected to present. Your abstract will need to be submitted using the following Survey Monkey link: www.surveymonkey.com/r/HZZBT8R. Registration for participants (non-presenting) will be disseminated in early 2017.
