MCCN senior student, Claudia Pierce received a GEM Note for her excellent work during NURS 406 clinical. The patient’s family left the following note:
“Our highest compliments for senior nursing student Claudia Pierce! It was her first day on a geriatric rotation at Mount Carmel West and her first patient she was assigned on the floor was our dad, Ron. Her confidence, compassion, professionalism, maturity, genuine concern, and skill level equaled that of a veteran nurse who has been in the field for 20+ years. We wish her nothing but the best upon graduation as we know she has found her true calling. Thank you for all that you did, Claudia!”
