At Mount Carmel, we are proud of the outstanding nurses who graduate each year. We are excited to invite you to join us on Monday, March 5 and Friday, March 9 for our Spring New Graduate Interview Event. Graduates interested in interviewing who have not applied please do so by using the link below, there is still time to be considered for our March 9 session. Once your application is received, a Talent Acquisition Specialist will reach out to discuss your areas of interests and provide you with more details.


The Spring Wellness Festival is scheduled for Monday, March 26 from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. All FREE for students, there will be a taco bar, ice cream sundae bar, massage therapy, Reiki, aromatherapy (make and take spring blends), spring flowers (make and take flower pots), photo booth – and more!

Seniors: Please check your email to nominate your peers for Senior Awards. The Senior Celebration will be on Monday, May 5 at 4:15 p.m. – immediately following ATI review. Senior Pinning will be on Friday, May 4 at 7 p.m.

Live, work and play in the Dominican Republic! For a one year commitment, starting in June 2019, 2020 or 2021, serve the medical needs of 45 to 50 Dominican and Haitian orphans and families. You will also prepare and serve five simple, healthy meals per week; provide three to five hours per week of preschool/early childhood education; and provide two to three hours per week of spiritual education/Bible study. You will need to speak basic Spanish.

Champagne & Diamonds, an event held by the Mount Carmel Foundation, raised over $720,000 that will benefit outreach and aid in the transformation of the West Campus – including the College of Nursing – over the coming years.

There is a Student Nurses Association at Mount Carmel (SNAM) meeting scheduled for Monday, March 12, 2018 from noon to 1 p.m. in Angela Hall, Room 101. Elections for the Board of Directors will take place during this meeting, so attendance is highly encouraged!

Come listen to healthcare stories from Mount Carmel College of Nursing staff and faculty on Thursday, March 15, from 7 to 9 p.m. in the College Lounge. Students will have an opportunity to tell their own healthcare stories, too!
