Library Front Desk
Say hello to our returning Library work study students: Abby Humphrey, Glorya Albertini and Katherine Kovalchin. In addition, we want to welcome Nikki O’Dell, our newest Library student worker. All are happy to assist you with many things including checking out a book or laptop, accessing a database or basic reference guidance.
Starting after Labor Day, the Cristo Rey High School students return for another year of working at the Library. The Library welcomes three new students: Alexis Collins, Fatoumata Kante and Salencia Hannon. Senior Miriam Addo returns for her third and final year. Each will spend one day a week at the Library assisting at the circulation desk, answering phones and learning about working in a professional environment. It is all part of Cristo Rey's unique program where every student has a work-study position. Please stop by and greet our dedicated students.
Say Goodbye to Summer
Meet your Library staff at our Ice Cream Social from noon to2:00 p.m., Monday, September 24. Enjoy a bowl of ice cream get to know us better. We can all say goodbye to summer together!

In addition to the Ice Cream Social on Monday, September 24, the Library will introduce new perks as a result of the Library Services Survey we conducted in the spring. Come and see what new things your Library has for you!
New Vending Machine
If you are craving a snack between classes or after hours, the Library now has a vending machine to curb those hunger pangs. There are healthy savory or sweet snacks along with drinks to quench your thirst. The new machine is located just outside of the 3rd floor Library entrance.
New Study Rooms
After a Summer of construction, Room 307 has been transformed into three small study spaces as well as a Head-to-Toe Exam Room and Creative Station for posters. All these spaces are available to reserve at http://mccn.libcal.com/rooms.php?i=1548

A Reminder: All MCCN students must wear badges, chest level, when visiting the Library. For your safety, doors to the Library and CLE lock at 5 p.m. and require a badge swipe to enter.
