Dr. Brooks

Faculty, Staff and Students!

As we enter this season of Thanksgiving, we have so much to be thankful for – for the wonderful gift of family and friends, of fellow faculty and colleagues and most of all our studious and engaged student body, in particular Mireya Alvardo, the most recent recipient of a Guardian Angel award.

  • Thankful, of course, for our dedicated faculty and staff members, including our newest addition, academic dean Dr. Kathleen Williamson, who joins us in moving forward with our Journey to Transformation through implementation of the strategic plan.
  • We are very grateful to Dr. Ann Waterman for her leadership as interim academic dean for the past several months and to Dr. Scott Dolan for filling the role as interim until Dr. Williamson is on board in January.
  • I am personally grateful for the privilege of leading the College and am looking forward to my upcoming MCCN Celebration Mass and Commissioning.
  • In addition, let’s all express our gratitude for veterans of the U.S. Armed Forces whose sacrifices are innumerable and also recognize future veterans among us – student nurses who are members of the ROTC program.

And, I am looking forward to seeing many of you at the Campus Ministry Annual Interfaith Thanksgiving Prayer Service on November 19, where we can give thanks together.

Thank you for all you do! Have a blessed Thanksgiving!

I will give thanks to the Lord because of his righteousness;
I will sing the name of the Lord Most High.

Psalm 7:17
