MCCN pre-registers students for first semester classes and requires each student to attend an Information and Registration Session and a Testing Session during the summer. These sessions include:

  1. General overview of new student information
  2. Financial aid and tuition/fees information
  3. Accessing MCCN email and the Student Portal
  4. Review your first semester schedule with a registration advisor
  5. Textbook and bookstore information
  6. Test of Essential Academic Skills and Critical Thinking Assessment

Records and Registration Checklist

  • After you receive the letter from the Director of Records and Registration, call promptly to reserve
    • A date to attend one of the Information and Registration Sessions
    • A date to take the Test of Essential Academic Skills and Critical Thinking Assessment
  • Request your final high school transcript to be sent to MCCN Admissions by July 7, 2017
  • If you are a transfer student, request your final official college transcript showing Spring Semester grades be sent to MCCN Admissions by July 7, 2017
  • Schedule your physical and immunizations through your physician’s office to complete your required MCCN health record prior to July 30, 2017.
  • After you receive your course schedule at the Information and Registration Session, order your textbooks from the online bookstore
  • If you are an entering sophomore or junior student, register for the appropriate CPR class
