To help you navigate the way as a new student at MCCN, we offer New Student Orientation and Convocation, a mandatory event designed to welcome you to MCCN, provide networking with fellow classmates and current student leaders and give you the tips and tools you’ll need to begin your academic adventure as a nursing student. Before your arrival on August 9, please make sure to complete your August 9 New Student Orientation Checklist and RSVP for Orientation using the link you received in your invitation. Please note: At registration, you will be given a special t-shirt to wear.

Wednesday, August 9
Students are welcome to bring family members to New Student Orientation, where they will spend the day exploring MCCN, meeting fellow students and learning important information in preparation for life as an MCCN Nightingale.
- Check-in 7:30-8:30 a.m. MCCN Lounge
- 8:30 a.m. Opening Remarks: Medical Staff Building (MSB) adjacent to College
- 4 p.m. Convocation: at nearby Holy Family Church on Broad Street. Convocation is an annual event that brings together faculty, staff, new students and family to celebrate the official start of the academic year. About Convocation.
